Weightfront @ Brakemin = Static Weight Distribution, expressed as weight on the front tires as a percentage of total vehicle weight.

Dynamic Weight Distribution (as opposed to static weight distribution) changes constantly when the vehicle is in motion, except when driving with constant speed in a straight line on a smooth surface.

Static Weight Distribution is determined by the horizontal location of the Center of Gravity (the CG of an object is the point where all its mass seems to be concentrated).

Static Weight Distribution can be calculated if we know the two values under either a), b), c), or d):

a) Total weight of car and weight measured under front wheels.
b) Total weight of car and weight measured under rear wheels.
c) Wheelbase of car and distance from front axle to CG.
d) Wheelbase of car and distance from rear axle to CG.

The percentage of total weight on the other axle is 100% minus calculated percentage.

These calculations go as follows:

a) (WT – WF) / WT = weight on rear axle as a percentage of total weight.

    (WT = Total Weight of car; WF = Weight of car under Front wheels)

b) (WT – WR) / WT = weight on front axle as a percentage of total weight.

    (WT = Total Weight of car; WR = Weight of car under Rear wheels)

c) XCG / A = weight on rear axle as a percentage of total weight.

    (XCG = distance from Front axle to CG; A = Wheelbase of car)

d) RCG / A = weight on front axle as a percentage of total weight.

    (RCG = distance from Rear axle to CG; A = Wheelbase of car)

In case you don't know the distance from Front Axle to CG of your car, and you are interested in having this data::

Distance from front axle to center of gravity is calculated by dividing the total rear scale readings (Left Rear + Right Rear) by the total weight of the car and multiply the result by the wheel base of the car.

XCG = (WR / WT) * A  =  A * WR / WT

XCG = Distance from front axle to center of gravity
WR  = Weight of car measured under rear wheels
WT  = Total weight of car
A     = Wheelbase of car
